Is the app really free?
Yes. Free forever. No ads, no upsells, no premium tier. The platform is paid for by coaches running their practices on it.
How are coaches vetted?
Verified coaches show a badge — confirmed identity, real practice, references checked. Every coach has reviews from real athletes.
Can I message a coach before I commit?
Yes. Free messaging. Most coaches reply within a day, many faster. Use it to ask anything — schedule, approach, fit.
What if I don't like the coach I picked?
Single sessions are non-refundable. Programs have a 7-day full-refund window. Recurring coaching can be canceled any time, prorated for the period unused.
Do I need a coach to use the app?
No. The app is designed to work fully on its own — log sessions, follow library programs, watch trends. Connecting with a coach is optional and tap-away when you want it.
Can I buy a program without booking the coach?
Yes. Programs are self-guided through the app. You can always upgrade to coaching from the same coach later if you want feedback.
What disciplines are on Athletika?
Strength & conditioning, running, swimming, cycling, combat sports, yoga, pilates, dance, climbing, calisthenics, mindfulness, nutrition, performance psychology, and rehab. The platform is discipline-agnostic by design.
What languages?
English, French, and Arabic at launch. Filter the directory by language to find a coach who teaches in yours.
