He'd coached for fifteen years. He could see a movement break down across two reps and adjust the next four weeks of programming on the fly. And every week, the actual work of running his practice — invoices, reminders, weight-tracking spreadsheets, payment chases, posting on Instagram — ate Sunday and most of Monday morning.
That coach's work was extraordinary. The tools he used to deliver it were a mess. We started Athletika to fix that — and grew the vision as more practitioners across more disciplines told us their version of the same story.
Two years later, the platform serves coaches across strength, yoga, combat, dance, endurance, and mindfulness — because the problem isn't fitness. The problem is that craft-based work has been served by software designed for SMBs and side hustles, and it doesn't fit. So we're building something that does, with the people who use it.
